1. When did Springbot Start?

2012 is the year the Marketing Robotics magic began! While participating in a Georgia Tech business accelerator program called Flashpoint, Brooks Robinson and Joe Reger founded the company to help small and medium sized eCommerce stores solve the bewildering array of marketing tools and analytics as well as what action to take next to grow their business. Thanks to our recent Series B funding, our community of retailers can expect even greater eCommerce marketing capabilities from Springbot in the coming months!

2. What is a Springbot?

Springbot is an eCommerce marketing platform that brings all of your essential marketing tools into one dashboard and gives you insanely detailed analytics, marketing automation capabilities, and more.

If you see us refer to “the springbots,” we’re talking about our team of incredibly dedicated developers, account managers, eCommerce marketing experts and others who are passionate about our customers. We’re working for our customers behind the scenes crunching numbers, sifting through the latest and greatest marketing technology and providing actionable insights to help make the marketing actions you take even more powerful.

Currently, Springbot is integrated with Magento, Magento 2, Shopify, BigCommerce and WooCommerce.

1. What is Springbot's Marketing Robotics™

Springbot’s Marketing Robotics™ streamlines the process of automating, analyzing and personalizing eCommerce marketing. With its all-in-one platform and data-driven marketing recommendations, Springbot empowers retailers through its core features.

2. Do I have to sign a contract?

Springbot does not require a contract for our service and software so you are free to upgrade or cancel at any time. We do request that you provide a 30-day written cancellation notice and also please comply with our terms and conditions.

3. How do I get started with Springbot?

Getting started with Springbot is simple. Our Activation Services team will get your store fully loaded so you’re ready to go when you log in for the first time.

4. What does the Activation Service Team do?

Our Activation Services team works with your data so you don’t miss a beat with your marketing. First they’ll load all your historical customer information into your platform, then they append it with additional demographic data you may not have had initially, allowing you to optimize your customer marketing strategy.

Using Springbot

1. How does Springbot help me market my store?

In addition to bringing all of your essential marketing channels (such as retargeting, email, and social) into one platform we give you the ability to automate and optimize your actions based on data-driven insights that are unique to our platform. We’ll show you what marketing is working and what you will want to refine through our revenue, conversion, product, channel, and ROI reports. All of this is designed to enhance the marketing actions you’re taking and guide you to better data-driven actions.

2. Can I send emails through Springbot?

Yes! Springbot offers a suite of automated marketing emails, such as Abandoned Cart, First Purchase, Post-Purchase and Win-back, that work behind the scenes to promote sales. Springbot also integrates with MailChimp and Constant Contact to provide advanced segmentation capabilities, analytics and reporting features for your newsletter campaigns.

3. Is AdRoll included in the monthly subscription?

Yes, an AdRoll campaign is included with the Springbot subscription. You can select from either a web campaign or a social campaign to re-target your site visitors as they go to other websites, Facebook or Instagram.

4. How do I get started with online ads?

Launching an ad campaign with Springbot is easy to do. It simply requires you to select an ad type (static or dynamic), set up your campaign with our intuitive interface and update your Privacy Policy on your website.

5. Why do I have to update my Privacy Policy?

Online ads, specifically retargeting ads, use cookies to track how often potential customers visit your website, and which pages and products they view. Informing visitors of this by updating your Privacy Policy is required both by our partner’s terms of service and legally by many countries and states.
