We’re thrilled to have Erika, former Vice President of Strategy at Oracle Social Cloud and Head of Marketing for Vitrue, join us in bringing the power of eCommerce marketing automation to small and mid-sized businesses!
We decided to do a little Q & A with Erika to find out more about our new team member:
When you’re not crushing it in marketing, how do you like to spend your time?
When I’m not working, I love to spend time with my husband David and my dog Sunny (@Sunny_Brookes
) doing anything outdoors: boating, biking, kayaking, walking around Atlanta’s in-town neighborhoods or visiting a local farmers’ market. Running is core for me as well — it really helps my brain work better. Lastly, I am an avid college football fan (#GoDAWGS) and a decent “short order cook”.
What do you predict to be the biggest eCommerce marketing trend for 2016?
Mobile. According to a study by eMarketer
between 2013 and 2017, mobile market penetration will grow from 61.1% to 69.4%. Smartphones are part of our daily lives, and as a result we will see increased use of all mobile devices being used beyond the phases of research and evaluation to shopping cart purchases.
What is something interesting you’ve learned about Springbot since joining the team?
Springbot is one of Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2015 Best Places to Work — and what I have found is that it is all that and more. The leadership, customer focus and culture is in lock step making every day not just energizing and fun, but when I come home each night, I feel like we made progress.
